The Reclaim Energy CO2 Heat Pump is one of the first truly smart hot water systems available on the market. In essence, it works like a 3-4 kWh battery for your home. Its controller has been designed to be complimentary to a household's PV solar system thereby allowing householders to take advantage of any surplus energy they are creating before it gets exported back to the grid. The system qualifies for all the Solar Hot Water rebates (STCs, VEECs, REES). With a payback period of 3 years* and up to 15 years Warranty** it is the smart energy hot water solution.
PUTTING THE POWER IN YOUR HANDS
Our interactive controls and monitoring, with 5 presets, allow households to take control over their energy generation and management at the touch of a button. The system is designed to allow householders to manage their energy consumption in line with their needs whetherthat be by running the system when excess energy is being produced (for those people with Solar PV) or on a continuous or Off-peak mode of operation. Our single-shot boost guarantees that no matter what option you choose
you will never be without hot water.

Up to 27% of your energy bills can come from heating your hot water.
iStore technology will clobber your electricity costs effectively using renewable energy
Without the need for solar panels, the iStore's advanced technology can cut your hot water heating costs by up to 70%. It uses intelligent systems to convert air into hot water through the efficient transfer of thermal energy.

Water heating cost comparion
Heating water makes up around 25% of electricity costs for the average Australian household.
The iStore cuts hot water energy consumption by two-thirds compared to traditional electric or gas storage systems, while also reducing CO2 emissions by 2.9 tonnes annually.
By installing an iStore, you could save up to $1,000* each year on your energy bills.

How iStore works
1. A fan draws in air, containing heat energy, across the evaporator
2. The evaporator turns the liquid refrigerant into a gas
3. The compressor pressurises the refrigerant into a hot gas
4. The hot gas inside the condenser coil heats the water inside the coil- wrapped tank
5. The refrigerant reverts back to a liquid after heating the water and continues to the evaporator for the process to start again
6. The cycle continues until the set target temperature is achieved.
7. As water is used in the home, the cycle will restart once the temperature in the tank has dropped below 45 °C
Features & Benefits
-
Energy Efficient
The iStore uses advanced technology to store 4 kW of heat energy for every 1 KW of power consumed
-
Optimal Design
The external wrap-around heating coil provides maximum thermal energy
-
Easy to Install
All-in-one integral unit, the iStore is easy and quick to install
-
Intelligent Mode
The iStore will monitor and evaluate the ambient temperature and automatically select Economic Heating Mode or Hybrid Heating Mode.
-
Hybrid Heating Mode
When quick recovery is required, this mode will activate the compressor & electric element for the fastest recovery. Hybrid Heating Mode is designed when short-term rapid water heating is required i.e.: Additional guests in the home or quick recovery is required after large hot water use such as a bath or spa. Once the target temperature is reached in this mode, the system will automatically reset to Economic Heating Mode as the default setting
-
Electric Element Heating Mode
The electric element will heat the water to the pre-set temperature and turn off once this is reached. The electric element heating mode is classified as a one-shot boost and will automatically turn off once the target temperature is reached. You can activate the electric element in any of the above operating models
-
Vacation Mode
For use when away on holidays, enter the date of your return and the smart iStore will not use energy while you're away & prior to your return. Vacation mode reduces energy consumption.
-
Economic Heating Mode
Most efficient setting as water will be heated via the compressor only. The electric element can be activated manually whilst in economic heating mode for faster recovery of water.
